Listening: When the engine is running, you can also hear the "hissing, hissing" sound of compressed air leaking through the piston ring in the vent hole, which can be verified externally with a stethoscope. Use a screwdriver with a long wooden handle, one end touches the movement area of the Bitzer 4VC Piston in the middle and upper part of the cylinder opposite the fuel injection pump, and the other end is close to the ear and the two monkey pieces collide.
Consumption: It is determined according to the engine oil consumption and the oil consumption percentage of the fuel-consuming machine. The engine oil consumption is almost unchanged before a certain working period, and it increases significantly after this period. It is generally considered that when the oil consumption accounts for the fuel consumption At 4% of the volume, the Bitzer 4VC Piston ring should be replaced.
Filling: When the decompression cranking engine is outside the crankcase ventilation hole, the Bitzer 4VC Piston ring can hear the "hissing, hissing" air leakage sound. Get rid of the crankshaft, and the sound of air leakage disappears or is significantly reduced, indicating that the opening clearance and side clearance of Bitzer 4VC Piston are seriously worn, and new parts must be replaced.
