The 06E connecting rod is one of the main transmission components in the automobile engine. In the gasoline engine, it transmits the expansion pressure acting on the top surface of the piston to the crankshaft, and is driven by the crankshaft to drive the piston to compress the gas in the cylinder. The connecting rod is working Bearing a sharply changing dynamic load, the connecting rod is composed of two parts: the connecting rod body and the connecting rod cover. The big head hole on the connecting rod and the connecting rod cover is assembled with the crankshaft with bolts and nuts. In order to reduce wear and facilitate maintenance, the big end hole of the connecting rod is equipped with a thin-walled metal bearing bush. The bearing pad has a steel bottom, and the inner surface of the bottom is poured with a layer of wear-resistant Babbitt bearing pad metal. There is a set of shims between the big end of the connecting rod body and the connecting rod cover, which can be used to compensate for the wear of the bearing bush. The small end of the connecting rod is connected with the piston with a piston pin. The bronze bushing is pressed into the small head hole to reduce the wear of the small head hole and the piston, and at the same time it is easy to repair and replace after wear.
During the working process of the engine, the 06E connecting rod is affected by the alternating pressure of the expansion gas and the inertial force. In addition to having sufficient strength and rigidity, the connecting rod should also reduce the mass of the connecting rod itself to reduce the inertial force role. The connecting rod shaft generally adopts an I-shaped cross-sectional shape that gradually decreases from the large end to the small end. In order to ensure the balanced operation of the engine, the mass of the connecting rods in the same engine should not be too different. Therefore, the large and small ends of the connecting rod parts are provided with bumps to remove the unbalanced mass, so that they can be removed after stability. Unbalanced mass, the connecting rod is large, and the two ends of the small head are symmetrically distributed on both sides of the middle section of the connecting rod. Considering the requirements of clamping, placement and moving, etc., the connecting rod is large, and the thickness of the small head is equal (the basic size is the same). There is an oil hole (or oil groove) at the top of the small head of the connecting rod. When the engine is working, it depends on the high speed of the crankshaft. Turn, the swing motion pair between the small end bush of the lubricated connecting rod at the bottom of the cylinder block and the piston.
The function of 06E connecting rod is to connect the piston with the crankshaft, so that the reciprocating linear motion of the piston becomes the rotary motion of the crank to output power.
