3. Uneven fuel supply. If the fuel supply amount and fuel supply time of each cylinder of the diesel engine are not uniform, the combustion process of some cylinders will deteriorate, resulting in carbon deposits or severe afterburning. 5. The engine knocks. During the operation of the engine, the top of the piston is subject to the periodic mechanical impact of the combustion explosive force. The instantaneous impact force can reach 7MPa, and the impact force directly acting on the top of the piston can reach more than 100kN. If the engine knocks, its impact will be multiplied. Under the action of thermal stress and periodic combustion explosive force, the piston crown produces thermal fatigue and mechanical fatigue, which eventually leads to melting and cracking. The main reasons for engine knocking are premature fuel supply time or ignition time, excessive carbon deposition in the cylinder, high compression ratio, pre-ignition caused by hot spots on the top of the piston, and low octane number of gasoline used.
6. The oil cooling nozzles are clogged. Some high-power engine blocks are equipped with oil cooling nozzles, which spray oil into the piston cavity to help cool and dissipate heat. If the oil cooling nozzle is blocked, the Bitzer 6F piston will accumulate heat and heat up, which may also cause the piston to burn to the top.
7. The engine runs at overload and overspeed for a long time, or the engine has poor heat dissipation. The piston has been subjected to high thermal stress and mechanical stress for a long time and is prone to fatigue ablation.
8. Bitzer 6F piston is of substandard quality.
